Official standard. This page transcribes or closely follows an official Skilled Trades Ontario, Electrical Safety Authority, or IATSE document. It is provided for reference and convenience only — it is not the authoritative record. Always confirm current requirements against the original source or Skilled Trades Ontario.

The Apprenticeship Training Standard is the official on-the-job record for the 269E trade, organized into 9 Skill Sets (numbered 5351–5359). Apprentices and their sponsor/employer sign off on each individual skill as competency is demonstrated. All skills shown here are mandatory unless the source document marks them optional (shaded).

Total on-the-job training: 4,520 hours. See Becoming Certified for how this fits into the overall certification path, and Curriculum for the matching in-school program.
