1. Safety and Rigging 2 (18 hrs: 9 theory / 9 practical)
Prerequisites: Level 1 Reportable 1

General Learning Outcome: Upon successful completion, the apprentice is able to assess job conditions to select and safely use appropriate rigging, hoisting, and lifting equipment according to regulatory and job requirements.
2. Codes and Standards 3 (24 hrs: 24 theory / 0 practical)

General Learning Outcome: Upon successful completion, the apprentice is able to interpret and apply OEC regulations to the installation of protection and control devices, Class 1 and Class 2 circuits, and installations specific to the entertainment industry.
3. Electronics 2 (21 hrs: 12 theory / 9 practical)

General Learning Outcome: Upon successful completion, the apprentice is able to apply the principles of digital logic to practical applications used by computers, communications equipment, and control systems.
4. Lighting Technology 2 (24 hrs: 8 theory / 16 practical)

General Learning Outcome: Upon successful completion, the apprentice is able to perform inspections of lighting luminaires, describe their electrical characteristics, and install, connect, assemble and disassemble as required.
5. Electrical Theory 3 (33 hrs: 33 theory / 0 practical)

General Learning Outcome: Upon successful completion, the apprentice is able to describe the characteristics and uses of common DC generators, and describe the behaviour and perform calculations relating to applications of sinusoidal alternating current, single phase transformers, and instrument transformers.
